SEVEN-DAY SOLAR PLEXUS CHAKRA INTEGRATION PROGRAM
Reclaiming Personal Power, Confidence, Choice and Purpose
Introduction
The Solar Plexus Chakra, traditionally known as Manipura, is associated with the development of personal power and the ability to consciously direct your life.
If the Root Chakra asks:
“Am I safe?”
and the Sacral Chakra asks:
“Can I feel and experience life?”
the Solar Plexus begins to ask:
“Who am I?”
“What do I choose?”
“What am I capable of?”
“What will I do with my power?”
The Solar Plexus is traditionally associated with:
- Personal power
- Confidence
- Self-esteem
- Self-worth
- Willpower
- Discipline
- Choice
- Personal responsibility
- Boundaries
- Courage
- Action
- Decision-making
- Purpose
- Achievement
- Transformation
- Healthy autonomy
This seven-day program is designed to help you move from thinking about personal power to practising it.
Personal power is not the power to control other people.
It is the ability to take responsibility for your own choices, actions, responses and direction.
DAY 1 — PERSONAL POWER
Theme: I Am Responsible for My Life
Personal power begins with responsibility.
Responsibility does not mean blaming yourself for everything that has happened.
It means recognising the difference between:
What happened to me
and
What I choose to do now.
Morning Practice
Place both hands over your solar plexus, just below the breastbone.
Take five slow breaths.
Ask:
“Where in my life am I giving my power away?”
Do not judge the answer.
Simply notice.
The Power Inventory
Create two columns.
Within My Control
Write down everything you can influence.
For example:
- My behaviour
- My choices
- My attitude
- My boundaries
- My effort
- My communication
- My habits
- Where I spend my time
- What I focus on
Outside My Control
Write down what you cannot control.
For example:
- Other people’s opinions
- Other people’s choices
- The past
- The weather
- Other people’s reactions
- Things that have already happened
Your objective today is to move your attention from the second column toward the first.
Action
Choose one thing within your control that you have been avoiding.
Do something about it today.
Reflection
- Where do I give my power away?
- Where do I blame circumstances instead of taking responsibility?
- What can I actually control?
- What responsibility have I been avoiding?
- What would change if I fully accepted responsibility for my choices?
Affirmation
“I take responsibility for what is mine to choose.”
DAY 2 — SELF-WORTH
Theme: I Do Not Have to Earn My Right to Exist
The Solar Plexus is closely associated with self-esteem and personal value.
Many people unconsciously make their worth conditional:
“I am valuable if I succeed.”
“I am valuable if people approve of me.”
“I am valuable if I am useful.”
“I am valuable if I achieve.”
Today we separate who you are from what you accomplish.
The Achievement List
Write down everything you are proud of achieving.
Then put the list aside.
Now complete:
“Even without these achievements, I am…”
Write ten answers.
Examples:
- Human
- Learning
- Growing
- Capable of love
- Capable of change
- Valuable
- Worthy of respect
The Inner Critic
Notice how you speak to yourself today.
Whenever you catch yourself saying:
“I’m useless.”
“I always get this wrong.”
“I can’t do anything right.”
Pause.
Ask:
“Would I speak to someone I love this way?”
Then replace the statement with something honest and constructive.
Not:
“I am perfect.”
But:
“I am learning.”
Mirror Exercise
Look at yourself in a mirror for one minute.
Do not correct your appearance.
Do not judge yourself.
Simply look.
Say:
“I see you.”
Then:
“You are worthy of respect.”
Reflection
- What conditions have I placed on my own worth?
- Where am I overly critical of myself?
- Whose approval am I seeking?
- What do I appreciate about myself?
- Can I separate my mistakes from my identity?
Affirmation
“My worth is not determined by my performance.”
DAY 3 — CHOICE AND DECISION
Theme: I Choose
Personal power becomes real through choice.
Every day we make thousands of choices.
Some are conscious.
Many are habitual.
Today is about becoming more deliberate.
The Choice Audit
Identify three areas where you currently feel stuck.
For each one write:
The situation:
What I have been doing:
What I could choose instead:
The first step I can take:
The Decision Exercise
Choose one decision you have been postponing.
Give yourself a reasonable amount of time to consider it.
Write:
- What do I know?
- What don’t I know?
- What are my options?
- What are the likely consequences?
- What matters most to me?
Then make the next appropriate decision.
The objective is not to guarantee a perfect outcome.
The objective is to practise conscious choice.
Eliminate One “Maybe”
Identify one place in your life where you repeatedly say:
“Maybe.”
Change it to:
“Yes.”
or
“No.”
or
“Not now.”
Clarity is a form of personal power.
Reflection
- Where am I avoiding decisions?
- Why?
- What decision would create movement?
- Where do I allow others to make choices for me?
- What would conscious choice look like today?
Affirmation
“I have the right and responsibility to make conscious choices.”
DAY 4 — DISCIPLINE AND ACTION
Theme: Do What You Said You Would Do
Confidence is strengthened when your actions begin to match your intentions.
Every time you tell yourself:
“I will do this”
and repeatedly don’t do it, your relationship with yourself can become weaker.
Today is about rebuilding that relationship.
Choose One Promise
Make one small promise to yourself today.
It must be:
- Specific
- Realistic
- Within your control
- Completed today
Examples:
- Walk for 20 minutes.
- Complete an important task.
- Make a necessary phone call.
- Organise something.
- Exercise.
- Write for 30 minutes.
- Go to bed at a planned time.
Then keep the promise.
The Five-Minute Rule
If something feels overwhelming, commit to doing it for only five minutes.
Start.
Often the greatest obstacle is not the task itself.
It is the resistance to beginning.
Discipline Reflection
Ask:
“Where do I repeatedly know what I should do but fail to act?”
Do not punish yourself.
Identify the pattern.
Then make the action smaller.
Evening Review
Ask:
“Did my actions today support the person I say I want to become?”
Affirmation
“I strengthen my confidence by keeping promises to myself.”
DAY 5 — BOUNDARIES AND COURAGE
Theme: Use Your Power Without Controlling Others
Healthy personal power requires boundaries.
A boundary says:
“This is what I am responsible for.”
and:
“This is what I am not responsible for.”
Today is about practising respectful strength.
Boundary Inventory
Complete:
I need to say no to…
I need to say yes to…
I need to stop tolerating…
I need to communicate…
I need to protect…
The Courageous Conversation
Identify one conversation you have been avoiding.
Ask yourself:
- What needs to be said?
- What am I afraid will happen?
- What is my responsibility?
- What belongs to the other person?
If appropriate, have the conversation respectfully.
The goal is not to win.
The goal is to communicate honestly.
Practise a Clear “No”
Today, say no to one request that you genuinely cannot or do not want to accept.
You do not need a long explanation.
You can simply say:
“No, I won’t be able to do that.”
Reflection
- Do I struggle to say no?
- Where do I become controlling?
- Where do I surrender my power?
- What boundary would create greater self-respect?
- What conversation requires courage?
Affirmation
“I can be strong without controlling others.”
DAY 6 — PURPOSE AND DIRECTION
Theme: Where Am I Going?
Personal power without direction can become restless energy.
The Solar Plexus asks us to consider what we are building.
Today is about direction rather than perfection.
The Life Direction Exercise
Complete:
I want my life to stand for…
The qualities I want to embody are…
The contribution I want to make is…
Something I want to accomplish is…
Something I want to become is…
Your Three Priorities
Choose the three areas that deserve your greatest attention during this season of your life.
Then ask:
“Does the way I spend my time reflect these priorities?”
If not, identify one adjustment.
The One-Year Question
Imagine yourself one year from now.
Ask:
“If I consistently made better choices from today onward, what could my life look like?”
Do not create a fantasy.
Identify realistic possibilities.
Then ask:
“What is one thing I can do this week that moves me toward that future?”
Do it.
Reflection
- What gives my life meaning?
- What am I building?
- What matters most to me now?
- What distractions are taking me away from my priorities?
- What deserves more of my energy?
Affirmation
“I direct my energy toward what matters.”
DAY 7 — INTEGRATION
Theme: I Choose Who I Am Becoming
The final day is about bringing everything together.
The Solar Plexus is not simply about confidence.
It is about the relationship between:
Awareness → Choice → Responsibility → Action → Discipline → Boundaries → Purpose.
Today, you create your personal-power blueprint.
MY SOLAR PLEXUS REVIEW

THE 30-DAY SOLAR PLEXUS COMMITMENT
Choose five practices to continue for the next 30 days.
Your objective is not to become powerful over other people.
It is to become increasingly responsible for your own power.
SOLAR PLEXUS DAILY CHECK-IN
At the end of each day ask:
RESPONSIBILITY
Did I take responsibility for what was mine?
SELF-WORTH
Did I treat myself with respect?
CHOICE
Did I make conscious choices?
DISCIPLINE
Did I honour my commitments?
ACTION
Did I actually do something rather than only think about it?
BOUNDARIES
Did I respect my boundaries and those of others?
COURAGE
Did I face something instead of avoiding it?
PURPOSE
Did I spend energy on what matters?
POWER
Did I use my personal power constructively?
THE SOLAR PLEXUS MORNING PRACTICE
Place both hands over your solar plexus.
Stand upright.
Take five slow breaths.
Feel the strength of your posture.
Then say:
“I am responsible for my choices.”
“I trust myself to make decisions.”
“I respect myself.”
“I have the courage to act.”
“I can set healthy boundaries.”
“I can keep promises to myself.”
“I direct my energy toward what matters.”
Then ask:
“What is the one courageous and purposeful thing I can do today?”
Do that one thing.
THE DEEPER SOLAR PLEXUS LESSON
The Root Chakra teaches:
I am here.
The Sacral Chakra teaches:
I am alive.
The Solar Plexus begins to teach:
I can choose.
This is an important transition.
At first we survive.
Then we learn to feel.
Then we discover that we have choices.
We begin to recognise:
I cannot control everything.
But I can choose my response.
I cannot control everyone.
But I can choose my boundaries.
I cannot change the past.
But I can choose what I do with what happened.
I cannot guarantee the outcome.
But I can choose my effort.
Personal power is therefore not about domination.
It is about agency.
It is the movement from:
“This is happening to me.”
toward:
“What can I choose now?”
That question can change the direction of a life.
SOLAR PLEXUS INTEGRATION STATEMENT
I take responsibility for my life without blaming myself for everything that has happened. I recognise my worth without needing constant approval. I make conscious choices, honour my commitments, establish healthy boundaries and direct my energy toward what matters. I do not need to control others to be powerful. My power is found in my ability to choose, act, respond and take responsibility for the person I am becoming.
- I do not need to control the world. I need to become responsible for my place within it.
