Here are 15 powerful assessment questions to establish where someone currently stands in their mental and emotional wellbeing (psychological health, emotional regulation, coping skills, and stress management):


Self-Awareness & Emotional Insight

  1. How would you describe your current emotional state most days?

  2. How well do you understand what triggers your emotions?

  3. Can you easily identify and name what you are feeling?

  4. Do you feel in control of your emotions, or do they often overwhelm you?

  5. How often do you reflect on your thoughts and feelings?


Emotional Regulation & Resilience

  1. How do you typically respond when you feel stressed, angry, or hurt?
