SEVEN WEEKS TO RECONNECT WITH YOURSELF

A Seven-Week Chakra Self-Help Workbook

A practical journey from awareness to alignment

HOW TO USE THIS WORKBOOK

This workbook is designed to help you take the wisdom of the seven chakras out of the pages of the book and into your everyday life.

For the next seven weeks, you will focus on one chakra at a time.

You are not expected to change everything at once.

Instead, each week asks you to become more aware of one important dimension of your life, observe where you are, identify what needs attention, and introduce small daily practices that can create meaningful change.

Your commitment

For the next seven weeks:

  • Give yourself a few minutes every morning.
  • Complete the daily practice.
  • Take time to reflect each evening.
  • Be honest with yourself.
  • Do not judge yourself for what you discover.
  • Look for progress rather than perfection.
  • Notice what changes in your body, thoughts, emotions, relationships and behaviour.
  • Carry what you learn from one week into the next.

Remember:

Awareness comes before change.

You cannot change what you refuse to see.

WEEK ONE

ROOT

I AM SAFE. I BELONG. I AM GROUNDED.

Focus: Safety, stability, belonging and connection to life

The Root Chakra represents our relationship with the foundations of life.

It invites us to examine:

  • Where do I feel safe?
  • Where do I feel unsafe?
  • Where do I belong?
  • What gives me stability?
  • What creates unnecessary instability?
  • Am I grounded in my life or constantly living in survival mode?

Before we can build a meaningful life, we need somewhere from which to build it.

This week is about coming home to yourself.

WEEK ONE INTENTION

Complete this sentence:

This week I want to feel more ________________________________.

My three priorities this week:

DAILY MORNING PRACTICE

Before you start your day, sit quietly for two minutes.

Place both feet on the floor.

Take five slow breaths.

Say:

“I am here. I am present. I am safe enough to meet this moment.”

Then ask:

What do I need today to feel grounded?

Write your answer:

DAY 1 — WHERE AM I?

How grounded do I currently feel?

Rate yourself from 1–10:

My sense of stability: ____ /10

My sense of belonging: ____ /10

My sense of safety: ____ /10

What is currently creating instability in my life?

What is currently creating stability?

DAY 2 — MY FOUNDATIONS

List five things that support your life.

Now ask:

Which of these do I take for granted?

Today, consciously appreciate one of them.

DAY 3 — MY BODY

Spend ten minutes today being present in your body.

Walk slowly.

Breathe.

Notice your feet.

Notice your legs.

Notice your posture.

Notice your breathing.

Ask:

What is my body trying to tell me?

DAY 4 — BELONGING

Where do I feel that I truly belong?

Where do I feel that I have to perform to be accepted?

What would change if I stopped trying to earn belonging?

DAY 5 — SIMPLIFY

Identify three things creating unnecessary chaos in your life.

Choose one thing to simplify today.

What will I do?

DAY 6 — GRATITUDE FOR THE GROUND

Write ten things that currently support you.

  1. __________________ 2. __________________
  2. __________________ 4. __________________
  3. __________________ 6. __________________
  4. __________________ 8. __________________
  5. __________________ 10. _________________

DAY 7 — WEEK ONE REFLECTION

What did I discover about myself?

What makes me feel grounded?

What makes me feel unstable?

What will I continue doing?

My Root Chakra commitment:

From today forward, I will ____________________________________.

WEEK TWO

SACRAL

I AM ALIVE. I FEEL. I CREATE.

Focus: Emotion, pleasure, creativity, relationships and healthy desire

This week moves from survival into living.

We explore our ability to feel.

Many people have learned to suppress emotions rather than understand them.

This week is an invitation to reconnect with feeling without allowing every feeling to control you.

WEEK TWO INTENTION

I want to become more aware of ________________________________.

DAILY PRACTICE

Each morning ask:

“What am I feeling today?”

Do not explain it.

Simply name it.

Today I feel:

Each evening ask:

“What did I do with that feeling?”

DAY 1 — FEELING

What emotions have I been avoiding?

Why might I be avoiding them?

What would happen if I allowed myself to experience them without judging them?

DAY 2 — MY RELATIONSHIP WITH PLEASURE

What simple things bring me joy?

When was the last time I deliberately enjoyed something without feeling guilty?

Today I will give myself permission to enjoy:

DAY 3 — EMOTIONAL HONESTY

Complete:

I am happy when…

I am sad when…

I am angry when…

I am afraid when…

I feel loved when…

DAY 4 — RELATIONSHIPS

Which relationships energise me?

Which relationships drain me?

Where do I need healthier boundaries?

DAY 5 — CREATIVITY

Do something creative today.

Write.

Draw.

Cook.

Dance.

Build.

Garden.

Sing.

Create something simply because you can.

What did I create?

How did it make me feel?

DAY 6 — LETTING EMOTION MOVE

Think of an emotion you have been holding.

Where do you feel it in your body?

Take five minutes to breathe into that area.

Then ask:

“What does this emotion need me to understand?”

DAY 7 — WEEK TWO REFLECTION

What did I learn about my emotions?

What did I learn about pleasure?

What did I learn about my relationships?

My Sacral commitment:

I give myself permission to feel, experience and create ____________________.

WEEK THREE

SOLAR PLEXUS

I AM CAPABLE. I CHOOSE. I ACT.

Focus: Personal power, confidence, responsibility and choice

This week is about moving from:

“This is happening to me.”

to:

“What can I choose to do with what is happening?”

Personal power is not controlling everything around you.

It is recognising what belongs to you.

Your choices.

Your boundaries.

Your actions.

Your responses.

Your responsibility.

DAY 1 — MY CHOICES

What is happening in my life that I cannot control?

What can I control?

What choice can I make today?

DAY 2 — RESPONSIBILITY

Complete:

My responsibility in my life is…

Something I need to stop blaming others for is…

Something I need to take responsibility for is…

DAY 3 — BOUNDARIES

Where am I saying yes when I really mean no?

Where do I need to say no?

Today I will practise saying:

“No, that does not work for me.”

DAY 4 — CONFIDENCE

List five things you have survived, learned or accomplished.

Now ask:

What does my past prove about my ability to handle life?

DAY 5 — ONE BRAVE ACTION

What have I been avoiding?

What is one small action I can take today?

Do it.

Then record:

I did it.

How did I feel afterwards?

DAY 6 — STOP GIVING YOUR POWER AWAY

Complete:

I give my power away when…

I reclaim my power by…

DAY 7 — WEEK THREE REFLECTION

Where have I become more decisive?

Where am I still giving away responsibility?

What choice will I make differently next week?

My Solar Plexus commitment:

I will take responsibility for what belongs to me and choose my response to what does not.

WEEK FOUR

HEART

I LOVE. I CONNECT. I FORGIVE.

Focus: Love, compassion, connection, forgiveness and self-worth

The heart invites us to move beyond protection.

It asks:

Can I remain open without abandoning myself?

Love does not require the absence of boundaries.

Forgiveness does not require forgetting.

Compassion does not mean accepting everything.

This week is about learning to connect without losing yourself.

DAY 1 — SELF-COMPASSION

Write something you have been judging yourself for.

Now imagine someone you deeply love had done the same thing.

What would you say to them?

Now say that to yourself.

DAY 2 — GRATITUDE

Write five people you appreciate.

Tell one of them.

DAY 3 — SAY IT

Today, tell someone:

“You are important to me.”

Who?

What happened?

DAY 4 — FORGIVENESS

Who am I still carrying emotionally?

What am I holding onto?

What would letting go mean for me?

Remember:

Forgiveness is not necessarily approval. It can be the decision to stop carrying the weight.

DAY 5 — RECEIVING

What is difficult for me to receive?

Compliments?

Love?

Help?

Affection?

Support?

Why?

Today, practise simply saying:

“Thank you.”

DAY 6 — CONNECTION

Spend at least fifteen minutes with someone without your phone.

Listen.

Do not fix.

Do not advise.

Simply be present.

What did I notice?

DAY 7 — WEEK FOUR REFLECTION

What have I learned about love?

Where do I need stronger boundaries?

Who do I need to appreciate?

What do I need to release?

My Heart commitment:

I will practise loving others without abandoning myself, and loving myself without closing my heart.

WEEK FIVE

THROAT

I SPEAK. I LISTEN. I EXPRESS MY TRUTH.

Focus: Communication, truth, listening and authentic expression

Our words can connect people.

Our words can hurt people.

Our silence can also communicate.

This week is about becoming conscious of what we say, what we do not say, and whether our communication reflects what is truly happening inside us.

DAY 1 — WHAT HAVE I NOT SAID?

What have I been wanting to say?

Why haven’t I said it?

Is there a healthy way to communicate it?

DAY 2 — LISTENING

Have one conversation today where you do not interrupt.

Listen to understand rather than respond.

What did you discover?

DAY 3 — SPEAK WITHOUT ATTACKING

Change:

“You always…”

into:

“I feel…”

Change:

“You make me…”

into:

“When this happens, I experience…”

Practise one conversation using this approach.

DAY 4 — MY INNER VOICE

What do I say to myself when I make a mistake?

Would I speak to another person that way?

Write a kinder inner statement:

DAY 5 — THE POWER OF SILENCE

Spend ten minutes in silence.

No phone.

No music.

No television.

No conversation.

What surfaced?

DAY 6 — ONE IMPORTANT CONVERSATION

Is there a conversation I have been avoiding?

What would I like the other person to understand?

What do I need to understand about them?

DAY 7 — WEEK FIVE REFLECTION

Have I become more honest?

Have I become a better listener?

What communication pattern do I want to change?

My Throat commitment:

I will speak with honesty, listen with presence, and use my words to create connection rather than unnecessary separation.

WEEK SIX

THIRD EYE

I SEE. I UNDERSTAND. I BECOME AWARE.

Focus: Awareness, perception, patterns, insight and discernment

This week asks you to step back from your life and observe it.

Instead of immediately reacting, ask:

What is really happening here?

We all have patterns.

The purpose of awareness is not to judge the pattern.

It is to see it clearly enough to choose differently.

DAY 1 — MY PATTERNS

What situation keeps repeating in my life?

What do I normally do?

What result does it produce?

DAY 2 — TRIGGERS

What tends to trigger me?

What happens inside me when I am triggered?

What could I do differently next time?

DAY 3 — OBSERVE YOURSELF

Today, imagine you are watching yourself in a movie.

Notice:

  • How you speak.
  • How you react.
  • What you avoid.
  • What you seek.
  • What makes you defensive.
  • What makes you open.

What did you notice?

DAY 4 — STORY OR FACT?

Think about a situation that bothers you.

Write the facts:

Now write the story you have created about those facts:

Ask:

Are they the same thing?

DAY 5 — CHANGE THE QUESTION

Instead of asking:

“Why is this happening to me?”

ask:

“What is this situation inviting me to understand?”

My answer:

DAY 6 — THE SPACE BEFORE REACTION

Today practise the three-second pause.

When something triggers you:

Stop.

Breathe.

Observe.

Choose.

What happened when you created space?

DAY 7 — WEEK SIX REFLECTION

What pattern have I become aware of?

What have I learned about myself?

What choice is now available to me because I can see the pattern?

My Third Eye commitment:

I will pause long enough to see clearly before I choose how to respond.

WEEK SEVEN

CROWN

I CONNECT. I TRUST. I AM PART OF SOMETHING GREATER.

Focus: Meaning, purpose, spirituality, connection and integration

The Crown Chakra brings the journey together.

It asks questions such as:

What gives my life meaning?

What do I believe?

What connects me to something greater than myself?

How do I want to contribute?

This week is not about finding someone else’s answer.

It is about becoming willing to explore your own deepest questions.

DAY 1 — WHAT MATTERS?

If I knew I had only one year left, what would matter most?

What currently receives my attention that would no longer matter?

DAY 2 — PURPOSE

What am I naturally drawn to?

What do people often come to me for?

What experience have I gained that could help someone else?

DAY 3 — CONTRIBUTION

How can I make someone else’s life better today?

Do it.

Then record what happened:

DAY 4 — STILLNESS

Sit quietly for fifteen minutes.

Do not try to solve anything.

Simply breathe and observe.

Afterwards:

What did I notice?

DAY 5 — MY BELIEFS

What beliefs guide my life?

Which beliefs give me strength?

Which beliefs limit me?

Which belief might I be ready to reconsider?

DAY 6 — MY LIFE’S MESSAGE

Complete:

The life I have lived has taught me…

The pain I have experienced has taught me…

The people I have met have taught me…

The person I am becoming wants to…

Feel yourself.

Ask:

“What am I feeling?”

THE 7 QUESTIONS

Whenever you feel overwhelmed, disconnected or uncertain, return to these seven questions:

1. ROOT — Am I grounded?

2. SACRAL — What am I feeling?

3. SOLAR PLEXUS — What can I choose?

4. HEART — How can I connect?

5. THROAT — What needs to be expressed?

6. THIRD EYE — What am I not seeing?

7. CROWN — What gives this meaning?

You do not always need a complicated answer.

Sometimes the question itself creates the space for change.

MY COMMITMENT TO MYSELF

I understand that this journey is not about becoming a different person.

It is about becoming more aware of the person I already am.

I commit to listening to my body.

I commit to honouring my emotions.

I commit to taking responsibility for my choices.

I commit to opening my heart.

I commit to speaking honestly.

I commit to becoming more aware.

I commit to exploring meaning and connection.

I understand that growth is not always comfortable.

I understand that awareness may challenge old patterns.

I understand that I do not need to be perfect.

I only need to remain willing to learn.

My name:

My commitment:

For the next seven weeks, I choose to participate consciously in my own life.

AFTER THE SEVEN WEEKS

The seven weeks are not the end.

They are the beginning of a different relationship with yourself.

You now have seven areas through which you can examine your life.

When something feels wrong, ask:

Which part of me needs attention?

When you feel disconnected, ask:

Which connection have I neglected?

When you feel overwhelmed, ask:

Where am I giving my energy?

When you repeat an old pattern, ask:

What am I now aware of that I wasn’t aware of before?

And when you discover something about yourself, do not immediately judge it.

Pause.

Listen.

Understand.

Choose.

Because the ultimate purpose of this journey is not simply to understand the chakras.

It is to use awareness as a pathway back to yourself.

MY PERSONAL CHAKRA WHEEL

At the end of the seven weeks, rate each area from 1–10.

Area Before After
Root — Stability ___ /10 ___ /10
Sacral — Emotional connection ___ /10 ___ /10
Solar Plexus — Personal power ___ /10 ___ /10
Heart — Love & connection ___ /10 ___ /10
Throat — Expression ___ /10 ___ /10
Third Eye — Awareness ___ /10 ___ /10
Crown — Meaning & connection ___ /10 ___ /10

What changed most?

What still needs attention?

What will I practise for the next 30 days?

ONE FINAL QUESTION

After everything I have discovered about myself during these seven weeks:

What kind of life do I now choose to create?

This is where awareness becomes choice.

And choice becomes life.
