Here is a complete four-week life coaching program based on the core philosophy of Hunger and Thirst Book—moving a person from uncertainty, procrastination and too many choices toward clarity, decision, action and intentional living.
Four-Week Life Coaching Programme
HUNGER & THIRST
From Knowing What You Want to Living What You Choose
Duration: 4 weeks
Format: 1 coaching session per week + daily implementation
Recommended session length: 60–90 minutes
Purpose: To help participants identify what they truly hunger and thirst for, remove the paralysis of too many choices, make intentional decisions, and turn those decisions into daily action.
THE CORE PHILOSOPHY
Many people are not stuck because they have no opportunities.
They are stuck because they have too many choices and too little clarity.
They think about changing.
They talk about changing.
They plan to change.
They wait for the right time.
They look for more information.
They consider another option.
And eventually, not choosing becomes the choice.
The Hunger and Thirst coaching programme takes the participant through four movements:
WEEK 1 — AWAKEN
What do I really want?
WEEK 2 — CHOOSE
What am I willing to choose?
WEEK 3 — ACT
What am I going to do about it?
WEEK 4 — BECOME
Who am I becoming through my choices?
The objective isn’t simply to help someone create goals.
It is to help them live intentionally.
WEEK 1 — AWAKEN
Discover Your Hunger and Thirst
Theme
Clarity before change.
Before we can change our lives, we need to become honest about the life we are currently living.
This week is about slowing down long enough to hear the questions we have been avoiding.
Coaching Objective
Participants will:
- assess their current lives
- identify areas of dissatisfaction
- distinguish genuine desires from external expectations
- identify what they hunger and thirst for
- uncover areas where they have been procrastinating
- begin defining their desired future
SESSION 1: THE LIFE AUDIT
Begin by asking:
“If nothing in my life changed over the next five years, would I be happy with the life I am living?”
Then explore eight areas:
- Self
- Relationships
- Family
- Career/business
- Finances
- Health and wellbeing
- Spirituality/meaning
- Contribution and purpose
Have the participant score each area from 1–10.
The Coaching Questions
- Where am I most fulfilled?
- Where am I most dissatisfied?
- What have I been tolerating?
- What have I been avoiding?
- What do I keep saying I will change?
- What have I been postponing?
- Where am I living someone else’s expectations?
- What would I change if I knew I could not fail?
THE HUNGER & THIRST EXERCISE
Complete these sentences:
I hunger for…
I thirst for…
I want more…
I want less…
I miss…
I have always wanted to…
If I had the courage, I would…
The thing I know I need to change is…
The decision I have been avoiding is…
This exercise moves the participant from vague dissatisfaction to specific awareness.
WEEK 1 HOMEWORK
The 7-Day Awareness Journal
Every evening answer:
- What gave me energy today?
- What drained me?
- What did I avoid?
- What did I choose?
- What did I learn about myself?
- What am I beginning to realise?
- What is my hunger telling me?
Week 1 Commitment
“This week I will not try to change everything. I will simply become honest about what needs to change.”
WEEK 2 — CHOOSE
The Power of the Decision
Theme
You cannot live every possible life.
One of the greatest sources of frustration is wanting all possibilities simultaneously.
We want security and adventure.
Freedom and certainty.
Comfort and growth.
Success and no risk.
But every meaningful life requires choices.
Coaching Objective
Participants will:
- identify their most important priorities
- eliminate unnecessary options
- confront indecision
- understand the cost of not choosing
- make one or more defining decisions
- create personal decision-making principles
THE COST OF NOT CHOOSING
Ask:
“What is my indecision costing me?”
Explore the cost in:
- time
- money
- relationships
- confidence
- opportunities
- energy
- self-respect
- emotional wellbeing
- purpose
Then ask:
“What will happen if I continue making no decision?”
This is a critical coaching moment.
Because sometimes the motivation for change doesn’t come from knowing what we will gain.
It comes from becoming honest about what staying the same will cost us.
THE CHOICE FILTER
Teach participants to evaluate major decisions using five questions:
1. Does this align with my values?
2. Does this move me toward the life I want?
3. Does this increase or decrease my energy?
4. What will this decision cost me?
5. Am I choosing this from courage or fear?
Then ask:
“If I could only choose one thing to change right now, what would make the greatest difference?”
That becomes the Primary Choice.
THE “ENOUGH” EXERCISE
Participants identify:
What is enough?
Enough possessions.
Enough commitments.
Enough distractions.
Enough excuses.
Enough waiting.
Enough seeking approval.
Enough comparing.
Enough thinking.
Enough postponing.
The purpose is not deprivation.
It is freedom from unnecessary choices.
WEEK 2 DECISION STATEMENT
Participants write:
“I choose __________________ because __________________.”
Then:
“Because I have chosen this, I am willing to stop __________________.”
And:
“The first evidence that I have truly chosen will be __________________.”
WEEK 2 HOMEWORK
For seven days:
The One Choice Rule
Every morning ask:
“What is the one choice I can make today that moves me closer to the life I want?”
Then do it.
Not ten things.
One thing.
WEEK 3 — ACT
Turn Intention Into Action
Theme
A decision without action is only a preference.
This week transforms clarity into behaviour.
The participant learns that motivation should not be the foundation of change.
Action creates momentum.
Coaching Objective
Participants will:
- convert their decision into measurable actions
- identify procrastination patterns
- overcome perfectionism
- create daily disciplines
- build momentum
- establish accountability
THE PROCRASTINATION QUESTION
Ask:
“What am I waiting for?”
Then:
“What am I afraid might happen if I act?”
And finally:
“What is the smallest action I could take today?”
This introduces the Smallest Possible Step principle.
You don’t have to finish the journey.
You have to start moving.
THE 24-HOUR ACTION
Every participant chooses one action that can be completed within 24 hours.
Examples:
- make the phone call
- send the email
- apply for the position
- start the project
- have the conversation
- cancel the commitment
- make the appointment
- write the first page
- walk for 20 minutes
- organise the finances
The objective is to break the psychological pattern of thinking instead of doing.
THE 30-DAY ACTION PLAN
Create four categories:
STOP
What must I stop doing?
START
What must I start doing?
CONTINUE
What is already working?
CHANGE
What needs to be done differently?
Then establish:
One daily action
One weekly action
One courageous action
One thing to eliminate
THE MOMENTUM PRINCIPLE
Teach:
Small action repeated consistently becomes transformation.
The participant doesn’t need a perfect plan.
They need a repeatable behaviour.
WEEK 3 HOMEWORK
The Daily Five
Every morning:
- What matters most today?
- What is my one action?
- What could distract me?
- What will I say no to?
- What will I complete before the day ends?
Every evening:
Did I do what I said I would do?
If yes: acknowledge it.
If no: don’t shame yourself.
Ask:
“What got in the way, and what will I do differently tomorrow?”
WEEK 4 — BECOME
Create Your Intentional Life
Theme
Your choices are creating you.
The final week moves beyond goals.
It asks a deeper question:
“Who am I becoming?”
Because the ultimate objective isn’t simply achieving something.
It is becoming someone capable of living the life you desire.
Coaching Objective
Participants will:
- review their transformation
- identify their new identity
- establish personal values
- create a personal life philosophy
- develop a continuing action plan
- establish accountability
- create their intentional-life blueprint
THE IDENTITY EXERCISE
Complete:
I used to be someone who…
I am becoming someone who…
I now choose to…
I no longer…
I value…
I stand for…
I will protect…
I will pursue…
I will never again allow…
This moves the participant from:
“What should I do?”
to:
“Who do I choose to be?”
THE FIVE PERSONAL PRINCIPLES
The participant creates five principles for their life.
For example:
1. I choose courage over comfort.
2. I choose action over procrastination.
3. I choose clarity over confusion.
4. I choose purpose over approval.
5. I choose intentional living over accidental living.
These become their Personal Life Code.
THE HUNGER & THIRST BLUEPRINT
Participants complete:
MY HUNGER
What do I deeply desire?
MY THIRST
What do I need more of?
MY VALUES
What matters most to me?
MY CHOICE
What am I choosing?
MY ACTION
What will I do?
MY BOUNDARY
What will I no longer accept?
MY PURPOSE
What am I here to contribute?
MY IDENTITY
Who am I becoming?
MY NEXT STEP
What happens next?
THE FINAL COACHING CONVERSATION
Ask the participant:
What have you learned about yourself during these four weeks?
What decision has changed the direction of your life?
What have you stopped postponing?
What are you now willing to say no to?
What action are you taking that you weren’t taking four weeks ago?
Who are you becoming?
And finally:
“If you lived the next twelve months with the clarity and courage you have discovered during these four weeks, what would your life look like?”
THE 90-DAY CONTINUATION PLAN
The four-week programme ends with a 90-day intentional living plan.
1. MY ONE BIG OUTCOME
What is the most important result I want?
2. MY THREE PRIORITIES
What three things deserve my attention?
3. MY DAILY HABITS
What must I do consistently?
4. MY WEEKLY ACTION
What must happen every week?
5. MY MONTHLY MILESTONE
What will I accomplish each month?
6. MY ACCOUNTABILITY
Who will hold me accountable?
7. MY NON-NEGOTIABLES
What will I refuse to compromise?
THE HUNGER & THIRST COACHING MODEL
The entire programme can ultimately be reduced to this simple framework:
SEE → CHOOSE → ACT → BECOME
SEE
Become aware of where you are.
CHOOSE
Decide where you want to go.
ACT
Take consistent action.
BECOME
Allow your choices and actions to transform who you are.
And then the cycle begins again.
See more clearly.
Choose more intentionally.
Act more courageously.
Become more fully yourself.
THE FOUR-WEEK JOURNEY
| Week | Theme | Core Question | Outcome |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Awaken | What do I really want? | Clarity |
| 2 | Choose | What am I willing to choose? | Decision |
| 3 | Act | What will I do now? | Momentum |
| 4 | Become | Who am I becoming? | Transformation |
THE PROGRAMME PROMISE
The promise of the Hunger and Thirst Life Coaching Programme is not:
“We will fix your life in four weeks.”
It is:
“In four weeks, you can stop waiting for your life to change and begin making the choices that change it.”
Because your life is not transformed by what you know.
It is transformed by what you choose.
And your choices become powerful when they become action.
And your repeated actions eventually become who you are.
HUNGER. THIRST. CHOOSE. ACT. BECOME.
