Below is a Christian-theology–aligned hypnotherapy / inner-child healing script, integrating Pinocchio, attachment healing, and biblical formation.
It is grounded in Fatherhood, sonship, grace, repentance, and restoration — without manipulation or coercion.
This works well for Christian counseling, men’s formation, spiritual direction, prayer ministry, or personal devotion.
From Puppet to Son
A Christian Inner-Healing & Attachment Restoration Script
(Pinocchio as the Journey into Sonship)
“You did not receive a spirit of slavery to fall back into fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry, ‘Abba, Father.’”
— Romans 8:15
1. Entering God’s Presence – Safety in the Father
Begin by taking a slow breath in…and a gentle breath out.
Allow your body to settle.
Silently pray:
“Lord, I place myself in Your presence.”
You are not here to strive.
You are not here to perform.
You are here to be with God.
Let your nervous system hear this truth:
“The Lord is my shepherd; I lack nothing.”
2. The Workshop – Created on Purpose
Now imagine a quiet workshop.
This is the place of creation.
You see Geppetto, but now you recognize him more deeply — he represents God the Father, the Master Craftsman.
Scripture echoes softly:
“Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you.” (Jeremiah 1:5)
Pinocchio stands before Him — unfinished, yet beloved.
Feel what it is like to be known before you are mature.
3. The Puppet Strings – Life Under Fear
Notice the strings attached to Pinocchio.
These are not sins first — they are fear-based attachments:
- Fear of abandonment
- Fear of rejection
- Fear of punishment
- Fear of being unseen
Jesus’ words speak gently here:
“I no longer call you servants… I call you friends.” (John 15:15)
Say inwardly:
“I was never meant to live controlled by fear.”
4. Jiminy Cricket – The Law Written on the Heart
Now notice Jiminy Cricket.
In Christian theology, he represents:
- Conscience
- The law written on the heart (Romans 2:15)
- The quiet prompting of the Holy Spirit
He does not accuse.
He convicts with love.
Hear his gentle reminder:
“Choose life.”
Let conviction feel different from condemnation.
“There is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.” (Romans 8:1)
5. The Nose – Sin, Shame, and False Coverings
Notice Pinocchio’s nose.
It grew when he lied — not from malice, but from fear.
In Scripture, fear always precedes hiding.
“I was afraid, so I hid.” (Genesis 3:10)
Bring compassion here.
Pray silently:
“Lord, I confess the ways I learned to hide to stay safe.”
As grace is received, the nose gently shortens.
Truth restores what fear distorted.
“You will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” (John 8:32)
6. Pleasure Island – False Freedom and the Flesh
Now see Pleasure Island.
This represents:
- The flesh
- Escapism
- False freedom
- Sin promising relief but delivering bondage
Scripture speaks clearly:
“You were running well. Who cut in on you?” (Galatians 5:7)
Notice there is no condemnation here — only clarity.
Say inwardly:
“I renounce false freedom and return to true life.”
7. Becoming a Donkey – Loss of Image-Bearing
The transformation into donkeys represents:
- Losing dignity
- Living beneath your calling
- Forgetting you bear God’s image
Scripture whispers:
“All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” (Romans 3:23)
But it does not end there.
Hold this truth:
“I may forget who I am, but God does not.”
8. The Belly of the Whale – Repentance and Death to Self
Now enter the belly of the whale.
In Scripture, this is Jonah’s place — the place of repentance, surrender, and prayer.
Here, Pinocchio stops running.
Pray quietly:
“Father, I return my heart to You.”
This is not punishment.
This is mercy.
“A broken and contrite heart, O God, You will not despise.” (Psalm 51:17)
9. Saving the Father – Love Fulfilled Through Sacrifice
Pinocchio risks his life to save Geppetto.
This reflects the Gospel truth:
- Love matures into self-giving
- Sonship produces responsibility
Jesus’ words echo:
“Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for another.” (John 15:13)
Notice:
Pinocchio does not earn love — he responds to love.
10. Becoming a Real Boy – Adoption and New Creation
As Pinocchio awakens, he is no longer wood.
He is flesh and breath.
This is new creation.
“If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation.” (2 Corinthians 5:17)
Hear the Father’s voice:
“This is my son.”
Let this truth sink into your body:
“I am no longer a slave, but a son.” (Galatians 4:7)
11. Integration – Living as a Beloved Son
Slowly return awareness to your breath…
your body…this moment.
You are not healed by effort.
You are healed by abiding.
Jesus’ invitation remains:
“Abide in Me.” (John 15:4)
Take one final breath.
When ready, open your eyes.
Core Christian Truth
Sanctification is not becoming perfect — it is becoming relationally secure in the Father’s love.
