THIRD EYE CHAKRA OPENING & REBALANCING
A Professional Hypnotherapy Script for Intuition, Inner Awareness, Insight, Clarity and Discernment
1. INTRODUCTION
Welcome.
Today, you are creating a quiet space in which you can turn your attention inward.
In the traditional chakra system, the Third Eye Chakra, or Ajna, is associated with the area between the eyebrows and is symbolically connected with intuition, inner awareness, insight, imagination, perspective and discernment.
This session is not about forcing yourself to see something extraordinary.
It is not about creating visions.
It is not about trying to predict the future.
It is about becoming quieter…
More observant…
More aware of the subtle information within yourself…
And more capable of distinguishing between fear, imagination, memory, intuition and conscious understanding.
You don’t need to force the Third Eye open.
You can simply allow yourself to become receptive.
Like a window being gently cleaned…
So that you can see more clearly.
2. SAFETY DISCLAIMER
Make sure you are in a safe, comfortable environment where you will not be disturbed.
Never listen to this recording while driving, operating machinery or doing anything that requires your full attention.
This session is a complementary relaxation and contemplative exercise. It does not replace appropriate medical, psychological or psychiatric care.
You remain in control throughout the session.
If anything feels uncomfortable or overwhelming, simply open your eyes, look around the room and return your attention to the present moment.
You never need to accept an image, thought or sensation as literal fact.
You can simply observe it.
3. PREPARATION
Make yourself comfortable.
Allow your body to settle.
Let your hands rest naturally.
Allow your feet to become comfortable.
And when you are ready…
Gently close your eyes.
Take a slow breath in…
And slowly breathe out.
Again…
Breathing in…
And breathing out.
There is nothing you need to accomplish.
Nothing you need to discover.
Nothing you need to prove.
For these moments…
You can simply become aware.
4. PRE-INDUCTION
Bring your attention into your body.
Notice your feet.
Your legs.
Your abdomen.
Your chest.
Your shoulders.
Your neck.
Your face.
And now bring your awareness gently toward the centre of your forehead…
The area between your eyebrows.
Notice whatever is there.
Perhaps warmth.
Perhaps pressure.
Perhaps tingling.
Perhaps relaxation.
Perhaps nothing at all.
Everything is acceptable.
There is no correct sensation.
You are simply observing.
5. HYPNOTIC INDUCTION
Take another slow breath in…
And as you breathe out…
Allow the muscles around your eyes to soften.
Allow your forehead to relax.
Allow your jaw to soften.
Allow your shoulders to drop.
And allow your entire body to become increasingly comfortable.
With every breath…
Your attention becomes quieter.
You don’t have to stop thoughts.
You don’t have to empty your mind.
Simply allow thoughts to pass.
Like clouds moving across an open sky.
You notice them…
And let them move on.
And as the mind becomes quieter…
Your awareness can become clearer.
6. DEEPENING
Imagine yourself standing on a quiet mountain at dawn.
The world around you is peaceful.
The sky is beginning to change.
The darkness is slowly giving way to light.
You are not trying to make the sun rise.
You simply observe.
And as the light appears…
You notice more.
Shapes become clearer.
Colours become clearer.
Distance becomes clearer.
Perspective changes.
And perhaps you can use this image as a metaphor for your own awareness.
You don’t have to force yourself to see.
You simply allow more light to enter your awareness.
7. THIRD EYE VISUALISATION
Now bring your attention gently to the centre of your forehead.
Imagine a beautiful deep indigo or violet-blue light appearing there.
Soft.
Calm.
Clear.
Peaceful.
Perhaps it begins as a tiny point of light.
And with each breath…
It becomes gently brighter.
Imagine the light moving in a slow, natural circular rhythm.
There is no force.
No pressure.
No urgency.
Simply awareness.
And imagine this light creating a sense of spaciousness within your mind.
A space between thought and reaction.
A space between fear and action.
A space between what you assume…
And what you actually know.
8. QUIETING THE NOISE
Imagine all the thoughts in your mind as leaves floating down a gentle stream.
One thought…
Then another…
Then another.
You don’t have to chase them.
You don’t have to stop them.
You don’t have to solve them.
Simply watch them pass.
And gradually…
There is more space.
More quiet.
More perspective.
And within that quiet…
You may begin to notice something subtle.
Not necessarily a voice.
Not necessarily an image.
Perhaps simply a feeling of knowing.
A sense of clarity.
A recognition.
An understanding.
And you allow it to arise naturally.
9. DISTINGUISHING INTUITION FROM FEAR
Now imagine placing two different experiences before you.
The first is fear.
Fear may feel urgent.
It may demand immediate action.
It may create catastrophic stories.
It may say:
“What if something goes wrong?”
“What if I am rejected?”
“What if I lose control?”
And now imagine the second experience:
quiet inner awareness.
It may feel less dramatic.
Less urgent.
More spacious.
More observational.
And you can begin learning to distinguish between them.
You don’t have to believe every thought.
You don’t have to obey every feeling.
You can pause.
You can observe.
You can gather information.
You can check reality.
And then…
You can choose.
10. RELEASING MENTAL CONFUSION
Imagine a cloudy sky.
The clouds represent confusion.
Assumptions.
Old beliefs.
Other people’s opinions.
Expectations.
Fear.
Mental noise.
And now imagine the wind beginning to move through the sky.
Slowly…
The clouds begin to separate.
And behind them…
The sky was always clear.
Your clarity does not necessarily need to be created.
Sometimes it simply needs space to emerge.
You can allow yourself to step back from your thoughts.
You can observe your mind rather than becoming every thought your mind produces.
And that creates freedom.
11. OPENING TO INNER WISDOM
Now imagine yourself standing before a doorway.
On the other side is a quiet room.
A room that represents your inner awareness.
You don’t have to enter immediately.
Simply notice the doorway.
And when you are ready…
Allow the door to open gently.
Inside, there is no pressure.
No demands.
No noise.
Only quiet.
And perhaps somewhere within that room is something you have always known.
A truth about yourself.
A value.
A direction.
A recognition.
A forgotten dream.
A piece of wisdom.
You don’t have to search for it.
Simply allow your unconscious mind to reveal whatever is appropriate for you at this time.
And if nothing comes…
That is perfectly fine.
Sometimes clarity begins with simply becoming quiet enough to listen.
12. DEVELOPING DISCERNMENT
And now hear these words:
Awareness does not mean believing everything you experience.
True discernment allows you to question.
To observe.
To investigate.
To remain curious.
You can have an intuition…
And still check the facts.
You can have a feeling…
And still pause before acting.
You can imagine something…
And still distinguish imagination from reality.
Your inner awareness becomes stronger when it works together with your conscious mind.
Intuition and reason do not have to be enemies.
They can become partners.
13. EXPANDING PERSPECTIVE
Now imagine rising gently above the landscape.
You can see your current situation from a greater distance.
What seemed enormous becomes smaller.
What seemed impossible may have more possibilities than you realised.
And perhaps you can begin to understand:
There is more than one perspective.
You don’t have to remain trapped inside one interpretation.
You can ask:
What else could be true?
What am I not seeing?
What information am I missing?
What would I see if I looked at this differently?
And as your perspective expands…
Your choices can expand too.
14. HEALING OLD BELIEFS
Now imagine some of the beliefs you have carried about yourself.
Perhaps:
“I can’t trust myself.”
“I always make the wrong decision.”
“I don’t know what I want.”
“I can’t see clearly.”
“I have to know everything.”
Allow those beliefs to appear as words written on a page.
And now imagine the page becoming lighter.
The words fade.
Not because you are pretending they never existed…
But because you are no longer required to live according to them.
Replace them with:
I can pause.
I can observe.
I can learn.
I can gather information.
I can listen to myself.
I can change my mind.
I can make thoughtful choices.
15. OPENING AND FLOWING
Now imagine the indigo light at your forehead becoming beautifully clear.
It begins to flow gently.
Not aggressively.
Not intensely.
Simply flowing.
Awareness flows.
Insight flows.
Curiosity flows.
Perspective flows.
And the mind becomes like a clear lake.
When the surface is disturbed, the image is distorted.
When the water becomes still…
The reflection becomes clearer.
You do not have to force stillness.
You simply allow it.
And within that stillness…
You become more aware.
16. POSITIVE REINFORCEMENT
From this moment forward…
You may begin noticing moments of quiet insight in everyday life.
A thought that arrives when you are relaxed.
A connection between two ideas.
A perspective you hadn’t considered.
A sudden understanding.
A moment when you realise:
Now I understand.
These moments can become invitations to pause.
Not instructions to act blindly.
Simply invitations to become curious.
Ask questions.
Look deeper.
Listen.
Observe.
Then choose consciously.
17. FUTURE PACING
Now imagine yourself moving through the days ahead.
You encounter a situation that normally creates confusion.
Instead of immediately reacting…
You pause.
You breathe.
You become still.
You observe what you are feeling.
You observe what you are thinking.
You gather information.
And you ask yourself:
What do I actually know?
What am I assuming?
What am I feeling?
What might I be missing?
And perhaps…
A deeper clarity begins to emerge.
You don’t rush it.
You allow yourself time.
And then you make your choice.
Calmly.
Consciously.
Clearly.
18. THERAPEUTIC SUGGESTIONS & AFFIRMATIONS
Allow these words to settle deeply within your unconscious mind:
I allow myself to become quiet.
I allow myself to become aware.
I trust myself to pause before reacting.
I observe my thoughts without becoming controlled by them.
I distinguish thoughts from facts.
I distinguish fear from awareness.
I allow clarity to emerge naturally.
I remain curious.
I remain open to different perspectives.
I listen to my inner wisdom.
I also value reason and evidence.
I trust myself to investigate what I experience.
I do not need to know everything immediately.
I allow understanding to unfold.
I can change my perspective.
I can change my mind.
I can make conscious choices.
I allow insight to flow naturally.
I am becoming more aware.
I see more clearly.
I listen more deeply.
I understand more fully.
19. INTEGRATION
Now imagine the indigo light becoming balanced.
Clear.
Calm.
Open.
Steady.
And imagine this awareness integrating with everything you have already developed.
Your Root Chakra…
Grounding you.
Your Sacral Chakra…
Allowing you to flow.
Your Solar Plexus…
Giving you confidence and choice.
Your Heart…
Connecting you with compassion and love.
Your Throat…
Giving you authentic expression.
And now your Third Eye…
Giving you perspective, awareness and discernment.
Grounded.
Fluid.
Empowered.
Compassionate.
Expressive.
Aware.
Allow all of these qualities to work together.
20. REORIENTATION
And now begin becoming aware of the room around you.
Notice the surface beneath you.
Notice the sounds around you.
Notice the air.
Notice your breathing.
Bring your awareness to your hands.
Your feet.
Your chest.
Your throat.
And finally…
The centre of your forehead.
Take a slow breath in…
And slowly breathe out.
Move your fingers.
Move your toes.
Allow your face to soften.
And when you are ready…
Open your eyes.
Returning fully to the present moment.
Clear.
Grounded.
Aware.
Present.
21. CLOSING
Take a moment before getting up.
Notice your mind.
Notice your body.
Notice your awareness.
And remember:
You don’t need to see everything.
You don’t need to know everything.
You don’t need to predict the future.
You don’t need to search for signs in everything around you.
Your deepest wisdom can sometimes be found in simply becoming quiet enough to observe what is actually happening.
You can listen to your intuition…
And still check the facts.
You can trust your feelings…
And still question your assumptions.
You can remain open…
Without becoming gullible.
You can remain curious…
Without needing certainty.
Take one final slow breath.
And hear these words:
I allow myself to see clearly.
I allow myself to listen deeply.
I allow myself to become quiet.
I release mental confusion.
I release the need to know everything.
I remain curious.
I remain discerning.
I trust myself to pause.
I trust myself to investigate.
I trust myself to choose consciously.
I allow insight to flow naturally.
I allow awareness to expand.
I see with greater clarity.
I listen with greater awareness.
I allow my inner wisdom and conscious understanding to work together.
22. POST-SESSION GUIDANCE
After the session, take a few quiet moments before returning to your normal activities.
Drink some water if appropriate.
Move gently.
Notice your surroundings.
You may wish to journal about any insights, thoughts, images or feelings that arose.
A useful daily practice is to spend five minutes in quiet observation and ask:
What am I noticing?
What am I feeling?
What do I actually know?
What am I assuming?
What information might I still need?
This encourages awareness while maintaining healthy discernment.
The chakra framework used in this session is a spiritual and contemplative framework rather than a medical diagnosis. The therapeutic intention is to support qualities such as self-awareness, reflection, perspective, curiosity, emotional awareness and thoughtful decision-making.
You do not need to force the Third Eye open.
You simply become quiet enough to notice.
You become curious enough to explore.
You become discerning enough to question.
And you allow insight to arise naturally.
Become still.
Become aware.
Look deeper.
Listen carefully.
See clearly.
