ROOT CHAKRA HEALING & REBALANCING
A Professional Hypnotherapy Script for Grounding, Safety, Stability and Flow
1. INTRODUCTION
Welcome.
This session has been created to support you in reconnecting with yourself at a deep and meaningful level.
Today, we are going to work with the Root Chakra, traditionally associated with grounding, stability, safety, belonging, physical presence and our connection with the Earth.
You don’t need to force anything to happen.
You don’t need to make anything happen.
Your only responsibility is to allow yourself to become comfortable, relaxed and receptive to your own inner experience.
As we move through this session, you can allow your unconscious mind to work with whatever you are ready to explore, release, restore and rebalance.
And you can remember that healing does not always mean changing something.
Sometimes healing means allowing something that has always been within you to flow naturally again.
2. SAFETY DISCLAIMER
Before beginning, make sure you are somewhere safe, comfortable and private.
Never listen to this recording while driving, operating machinery, or doing anything that requires your full attention.
This session is intended as a complementary relaxation and therapeutic exercise. It does not replace appropriate medical, psychological or psychiatric care.
If anything arises during the session that feels uncomfortable, you can simply open your eyes, orient yourself to the room and return your attention to the present moment.
You remain in control throughout the entire experience.
3. PREPARATION
Make yourself comfortable.
Allow your hands to rest naturally.
Allow your feet to become comfortable.
And if it feels appropriate, gently close your eyes.
Take a slow, comfortable breath in…
And slowly breathe out.
Again…
Breathing in…
And breathing out.
There is nowhere else you need to be.
Nothing else you need to accomplish.
For these next few moments, you can simply be here.
Present.
Safe.
Supported.
4. PRE-INDUCTION
Bring your attention to your body.
Notice the weight of your body against whatever is supporting you.
Notice your feet.
Notice your legs.
Notice your pelvis.
Notice your abdomen.
Notice your chest.
Notice your shoulders.
Your arms.
Your hands.
Your neck.
Your face.
And simply notice.
There is nothing to change.
Nothing to judge.
Nothing to fix.
Just notice.
And with every breath, allow yourself to become a little more present within your body.
You may become aware that your body has been carrying you through your entire life.
Every experience.
Every challenge.
Every transition.
Every moment of uncertainty.
And perhaps now you can begin to offer your body something it may have needed for a very long time…
The permission to relax.
5. HYPNOTIC INDUCTION
Take another slow breath in…
And as you breathe out, allow your eyes to become heavier.
Your muscles can begin to soften.
Your thoughts can become quieter.
And you don’t need to stop your thoughts.
Let them come…
And let them go.
Like clouds passing through an open sky.
And now imagine that with every breath, relaxation is moving down through your body.
From the top of your head…
Down through your face…
Your neck…
Your shoulders…
Your chest…
Your abdomen…
Your hips…
Your legs…
And all the way down into your feet.
And now imagine that each breath carries you deeper into yourself.
Not away from yourself…
But deeper into yourself.
6. DEEPENING
Imagine yourself standing in a beautiful natural environment.
Perhaps it is a forest.
Perhaps it is a mountain.
Perhaps it is beside the ocean.
Or perhaps somewhere completely different.
Allow your unconscious mind to choose the place that feels right for you.
Notice the ground beneath your feet.
Notice that the Earth is supporting you.
You don’t have to hold yourself up.
The Earth holds you.
Take a slow breath.
And imagine that beneath your feet there are roots.
Not physical roots…
But energetic roots.
They extend gently downward into the Earth.
Deeper…
And deeper…
And deeper still.
With every breath, you become more grounded.
More present.
More connected.
And as you breathe out, you can release the need to carry everything alone.
7. ROOT CHAKRA VISUALISATION
Now bring your awareness gently to the base of your spine.
The area traditionally associated with the Root Chakra.
You may imagine a warm red light beginning to appear there.
There is no need to force the colour.
Simply allow whatever image, sensation or awareness comes naturally.
Imagine this warm red light becoming gently brighter.
Not intense.
Not overwhelming.
Just warm.
Steady.
Comforting.
Imagine the light beginning to move in a slow, natural circular movement.
And as it moves, imagine any stagnant energy beginning to soften.
Any tension beginning to release.
Any fear that you no longer need beginning to loosen.
Any old sense of insecurity beginning to dissolve.
You don’t have to know where it came from.
You don’t have to analyse it.
You don’t have to revisit the past.
You can simply allow your unconscious mind to release what you are ready to release.
8. RELEASING THE NEED FOR CONSTANT SURVIVAL
And now allow yourself to hear these words deeply:
You are here.
You have made it here.
You have survived everything that brought you to this moment.
And perhaps there were times when your nervous system learned that it needed to remain alert.
To anticipate.
To protect.
To control.
To prepare for what might happen next.
And that response may once have served a purpose.
So rather than judging it…
You can thank it.
Thank the part of you that tried to protect you.
And then gently tell that part:
You don’t have to work so hard anymore.
You can rest.
You can soften.
You can become present.
This moment is different from the moments that came before.
And your unconscious mind can learn the difference between an old memory of danger…
And the reality of this present moment.
9. REBALANCING AND OPENING
Now imagine the Root Chakra becoming clearer.
The red light becomes steady.
Balanced.
Natural.
Open enough to flow…
And grounded enough to remain stable.
There is no need to force it open.
There is no need to make it spin faster.
There is no need to create an experience.
Simply allow it to find its own natural rhythm.
Imagine energy flowing freely from the Earth…
Through your roots…
Into your body…
And upward through you.
And imagine your own energy flowing downward…
Into your body…
Through your legs…
Through your feet…
And into the Earth.
A natural exchange.
A natural flow.
A natural connection.
You are not separate from the Earth.
You are part of it.
You are supported by it.
And you belong here.
10. HEALING BELONGING AND SAFETY
Allow these words to move gently into your unconscious mind:
I am allowed to be here.
I belong in my life.
I belong in my body.
I am allowed to take up space.
I am allowed to rest.
I am allowed to receive support.
I can create stability within myself.
I can trust myself one moment at a time.
I can be present without needing to control everything.
I can allow life to unfold without constantly preparing for danger.
And perhaps you can begin to discover that safety is not always something that must come from outside of you.
There can also be a growing sense of safety within.
A quiet centre.
A grounded place.
A place you can return to.
11. RELEASING OLD PATTERNS
And now imagine placing any old patterns that no longer serve you into the Earth.
Perhaps these are fears.
Perhaps insecurity.
Perhaps the need to control.
Perhaps the belief that you are alone.
Perhaps the belief that you must always be strong.
Perhaps the belief that you must constantly protect yourself.
You don’t need to name them.
Simply allow them to be released.
The Earth can receive what you no longer need to carry.
And in their place…
Allow yourself to receive grounding.
Stability.
Presence.
Trust.
Connection.
And a deeper relationship with yourself.
12. POSITIVE REINFORCEMENT
From this moment forward, your unconscious mind can become increasingly aware of the simple things that create groundedness.
Your feet touching the ground.
Your breath moving through your body.
The warmth of sunlight.
The feeling of sitting comfortably.
The rhythm of walking.
The sensation of being present.
The feeling of being supported.
Small experiences can become reminders.
Reminders that say:
I am here.
I am present.
I am connected.
I am grounded.
And every time you consciously feel your feet on the ground…
You can use that sensation as a reminder to return to yourself.
13. FUTURE PACING
Now imagine yourself moving into the days ahead.
See yourself waking up.
Notice how you enter your day.
Perhaps there is a little more calm.
A little more stability.
A little less urgency.
You notice your body.
You notice your breathing.
You notice your feet.
And you remember:
I am here.
Imagine encountering something that previously made you feel uncertain.
Instead of immediately reacting…
You pause.
You breathe.
You feel your feet.
You become grounded.
And from that grounded place, you choose your response.
You don’t have to control everything.
You don’t have to predict everything.
You don’t have to protect yourself from every possibility.
You can simply meet each moment as it arrives.
Grounded.
Present.
Aware.
14. THERAPEUTIC SUGGESTIONS & AFFIRMATIONS
Allow these suggestions to settle deeply within you:
I am grounded.
I am present in my body.
I am connected to myself.
I am connected to the Earth.
I am worthy of safety and stability.
I allow myself to receive support.
I trust myself to respond to life one moment at a time.
I release what I no longer need to carry.
I allow old survival patterns to soften.
I do not need to live constantly preparing for what might happen.
I can be present with what is happening now.
I am allowed to rest.
I am allowed to feel secure within myself.
I belong.
I am here.
I am grounded.
I am safe in this moment.
And perhaps the deepest suggestion of all:
I don’t have to force my healing.
I can allow myself to heal.
15. INTEGRATION
Now imagine the red light at the base of your spine becoming beautifully balanced.
Not too much.
Not too little.
Simply enough.
Steady.
Grounded.
Flowing.
And imagine that this balanced energy becomes part of the whole of you.
Moving gently upward…
Connecting with your body…
Your heart…
Your mind…
And your awareness.
You are not required to remain perfectly balanced every moment of every day.
Life moves.
You move.
Energy moves.
What matters is your ability to notice…
Return…
Reconnect…
And restore.
16. REORIENTATION
And now, slowly, begin to become aware of the room around you.
Notice the surface supporting your body.
Notice the temperature of the air.
Notice the sounds around you.
Bring your awareness back to your hands.
Your feet.
Your body.
Take a deeper breath in…
And slowly breathe out.
Begin to move your fingers.
Move your toes.
And when you are ready, allow your eyes to open.
Returning fully to the present moment…
Bringing with you a sense of grounding…
Calm…
Presence…
And connection.
Take one final comfortable breath.
And remind yourself:
I am here.
I am grounded.
I am connected.
I am enough.
17. CLOSING
Take a moment before getting up.
Notice how you feel.
There is nothing you need to evaluate.
Nothing you need to prove.
Simply acknowledge the experience.
Your body has carried you a long way.
Your mind has protected you in many ways.
And now you can begin to create a different relationship with yourself—
One based not only on survival…
But on presence.
Not only on protection…
But on trust.
Not only on holding on…
But also on allowing.
And you can return to this grounded feeling whenever you need it.
Your breath can remind you.
Your feet can remind you.
The Earth can remind you.
And you can remind yourself:
I am here.
I belong here.
I am grounded.
I am connected.
And I allow life to flow through me naturally.
18. POST-SESSION GUIDANCE
After the session, take a few moments before returning to your normal activities.
Drink some water if appropriate.
Move gently.
Notice your feet touching the ground.
If emotions, memories or significant psychological material arise after the session, allow yourself to approach them gently rather than forcing yourself to process them alone. Appropriate professional support can be helpful when needed.
The intention is not to force an energetic experience.
The intention is to develop greater grounding, self-awareness, embodiment, stability and connection.
Healing can be a process.
Allow that process to unfold at its own pace.
