HEART CHAKRA HEALING & REBALANCING
A Professional Hypnotherapy Script for Love, Compassion, Forgiveness, Connection and Emotional Openness
1. INTRODUCTION
Welcome.
Today, you are creating a quiet and safe space in which you can reconnect with your heart.
In the traditional chakra system, the Heart Chakra, or Anahata, is associated with the centre of the chest and is symbolically connected with love, compassion, connection, forgiveness, acceptance, emotional balance and the ability to both give and receive love.
The heart can learn to protect itself.
Sometimes protection is necessary.
Sometimes we close ourselves because we have been hurt.
Because we have experienced rejection.
Loss.
Betrayal.
Disappointment.
Grief.
Or because opening ourselves once seemed too painful.
But protection does not have to become permanent.
And today, you do not need to force your heart open.
You can simply create a safe enough space for it to begin opening naturally.
At its own pace.
In its own way.
2. SAFETY DISCLAIMER
Make sure you are in a safe, comfortable environment where you will not be disturbed.
Never listen to this recording while driving, operating machinery or doing anything requiring your full attention.
This session is a complementary relaxation and therapeutic exercise. It does not replace appropriate medical, psychological or psychiatric care.
If difficult emotions arise, you remain in control.
You can pause the recording, open your eyes, look around the room and return your awareness to the present moment.
You never have to revisit a painful memory in order to heal.
3. PREPARATION
Make yourself comfortable.
Allow your body to settle.
Let your hands rest naturally.
Allow your feet to become comfortable.
And when you are ready…
Gently close your eyes.
Take a slow breath in…
And slowly breathe out.
Again…
Breathing in…
And breathing out.
With every breath, allow yourself to become a little more comfortable.
There is nothing you need to solve.
Nothing you need to fix.
Nothing you need to prove.
For these moments…
You can simply be.
4. PRE-INDUCTION
Bring your awareness to your body.
Notice your feet.
Your legs.
Your abdomen.
Your chest.
Your shoulders.
Your arms.
Your hands.
Your neck.
Your face.
And now…
Bring your awareness gently toward the centre of your chest.
You may notice warmth.
You may notice pressure.
You may notice movement.
You may notice nothing at all.
Whatever you experience is perfectly acceptable.
There is no right way to experience this.
You are simply becoming aware.
And awareness creates choice.
5. HYPNOTIC INDUCTION
Take another slow breath in…
And as you breathe out…
Allow your shoulders to soften.
Allow your jaw to relax.
Allow your abdomen to soften.
And allow the muscles around your chest to become comfortable.
With every breath…
You can become more relaxed.
More present.
More connected to yourself.
Imagine each breath creating a little more space inside you.
Space to breathe.
Space to feel.
Space to receive.
Space to let go.
And as you continue breathing…
Allow yourself to move gently into a deeper state of relaxation.
6. DEEPENING
Imagine yourself standing in a beautiful natural environment.
Perhaps it is a peaceful forest.
Perhaps a garden.
Perhaps a quiet beach.
Perhaps somewhere you have never been.
Allow your unconscious mind to choose the place.
Notice the quality of the air.
Notice the light.
Notice the sounds.
And notice that you are surrounded by life.
Trees.
Plants.
Flowers.
Birds.
Water.
Wind.
Everything existing in relationship with everything else.
And as you stand there…
Take a slow breath.
Allow yourself to feel connected.
Not separate.
Connected.
7. HEART CHAKRA VISUALISATION
Now bring your awareness to the centre of your chest.
Imagine a gentle emerald-green light beginning to appear there.
Soft.
Warm.
Comforting.
Peaceful.
There is no need to force it brighter.
Simply allow it to be present.
Imagine the green light slowly expanding with every breath.
As you breathe in…
It expands.
As you breathe out…
It softens.
And perhaps you can imagine it moving in a gentle circular rhythm.
Allowing.
Opening.
Flowing.
You do not need to force your heart open.
You are simply creating the conditions in which openness can occur naturally.
8. ACKNOWLEDGING THE PROTECTIVE HEART
And now…
Imagine that your heart has a wisdom of its own.
Perhaps there have been times when it needed to protect you.
Perhaps you were hurt.
Perhaps someone you trusted disappointed you.
Perhaps you experienced rejection.
Perhaps someone left.
Perhaps someone betrayed you.
Perhaps you lost someone you loved.
Perhaps you learned to become emotionally strong because vulnerability felt unsafe.
And if your heart learned to protect itself…
You can honour that.
You don’t have to judge it.
You don’t have to fight it.
You can simply say:
Thank you for protecting me.
And then gently allow your unconscious mind to understand:
I can protect myself without completely closing myself.
Protection and openness can coexist.
Boundaries and love can coexist.
Strength and tenderness can coexist.
9. RELEASING OLD EMOTIONAL WEIGHT
Imagine now that you are carrying a collection of stones.
Each stone represents something you have carried emotionally.
Perhaps one represents resentment.
Another disappointment.
Another grief.
Another betrayal.
Another rejection.
Another regret.
Another heartbreak.
You don’t need to remember every story.
You don’t need to relive anything.
Simply recognise that some things have become heavy.
And now…
One by one…
You can place those stones down.
You are not denying what happened.
You are not saying it didn’t matter.
You are simply deciding that you do not have to carry it forever.
Place down what you are ready to release.
One stone.
Then another.
And another.
Feel the space that begins to appear.
10. FORGIVENESS WITHOUT FORCING
And now we approach forgiveness gently.
Forgiveness does not mean saying that something was acceptable.
It does not mean forgetting.
It does not mean returning to an unsafe situation.
It does not mean removing healthy boundaries.
Forgiveness can simply mean:
I choose not to allow this experience to occupy my entire future.
Perhaps there are people you can forgive.
Perhaps there are experiences you can forgive.
Perhaps most importantly…
There are parts of yourself that you can begin to forgive.
The younger you.
The confused you.
The frightened you.
The version of you who didn’t know what you know today.
And perhaps you can gently say:
I did the best I could with what I knew at the time.
I allow myself to learn.
I allow myself to grow.
I allow myself to release unnecessary self-punishment.
11. OPENING TO SELF-COMPASSION
Now place your awareness gently at the centre of your chest.
Imagine the green light becoming warmer.
And hear these words:
I can be compassionate toward myself.
You don’t have to earn compassion.
You don’t have to become perfect before you deserve kindness.
You can speak to yourself with the same understanding you would offer someone you deeply care about.
When you make a mistake…
You can learn.
When you struggle…
You can support yourself.
When you feel overwhelmed…
You can pause.
When you hurt…
You can acknowledge it.
And when you succeed…
You can allow yourself to receive that too.
12. ALLOWING LOVE TO FLOW
Now imagine the green light beginning to flow outward from your heart.
First through your chest…
Then through your shoulders…
Down your arms…
Into your hands.
And then back toward your centre.
A natural movement.
Giving…
Receiving.
Giving…
Receiving.
Because love is not only something you give.
You are also allowed to receive it.
Receive kindness.
Receive support.
Receive appreciation.
Receive affection.
Receive friendship.
Receive compassion.
Receive care.
You do not have to reject love simply because you have been hurt before.
You can learn to receive safely.
One experience at a time.
13. RECONNECTING WITH CONNECTION
Imagine now that the green light extends gently outward.
It connects you with the people you genuinely love.
The people who support you.
The people with whom you can be authentic.
And perhaps you can become aware that connection does not require perfection.
People can be different.
People can disagree.
People can make mistakes.
And healthy connection can still exist.
You can remain yourself while being connected to others.
You can have boundaries and intimacy.
Independence and connection.
Strength and vulnerability.
You do not have to disappear into another person in order to love them.
You can remain fully yourself.
14. RELEASING FEAR OF VULNERABILITY
And now…
Allow yourself to consider that vulnerability is not the same as weakness.
Vulnerability can be the willingness to be authentic.
To say:
This matters to me.
I care.
I need help.
I love you.
That hurt me.
I am afraid.
I am grateful.
I am here.
You can choose when and with whom you become vulnerable.
You don’t have to open indiscriminately.
Your heart can become wiser rather than simply more open.
Open…
And discerning.
Loving…
And boundaried.
Compassionate…
And self-respecting.
15. HEART CENTRE FLOW
Now imagine that the green light within your chest becomes beautifully balanced.
It flows gently.
Not forced.
Not restricted.
Not overwhelmed.
Simply flowing.
Imagine each breath moving through the heart centre.
Breathing in…
Receiving.
Breathing out…
Releasing.
Receiving…
Releasing.
Giving…
Receiving.
And perhaps you can feel that love is not something you have to chase.
It can also be something you allow.
Something you notice.
Something you cultivate.
Something you share.
16. POSITIVE REINFORCEMENT
From this moment forward…
You may begin noticing small expressions of love that already exist in your life.
A smile.
A kind word.
A hug.
A message.
A conversation.
A moment of laughter.
A sunrise.
A child’s laughter.
A friend’s support.
A quiet moment alone.
A moment of gratitude.
These experiences can become reminders:
My heart is capable of connection.
My heart is capable of love.
I can give love.
I can receive love.
I can protect myself without closing myself completely.
17. FUTURE PACING
Now imagine yourself moving forward through your life.
See yourself in an ordinary day.
Someone offers you kindness.
And instead of immediately dismissing it…
You allow yourself to receive it.
Someone tells you that they care.
And you allow yourself to hear it.
Someone needs you.
And you offer support without abandoning yourself.
You experience disappointment.
And rather than closing your entire heart…
You process what happened.
You maintain your boundaries.
You learn.
And when you are ready…
You open again.
Imagine yourself responding to life with greater emotional flexibility.
Your heart is not permanently open.
Your heart is not permanently closed.
It is responsive.
Wise.
Discerning.
Alive.
18. THERAPEUTIC SUGGESTIONS & AFFIRMATIONS
Allow these words to settle deeply within your unconscious mind:
I am worthy of love.
I am worthy of compassion.
I am worthy of healthy connection.
I allow myself to love.
I allow myself to receive love.
I allow myself to receive kindness.
I release what I no longer need to carry.
I forgive myself for being human.
I allow old pain to soften.
I can protect myself without closing my heart.
I can have boundaries and still love deeply.
I can be vulnerable with safe people.
I trust myself to choose healthy relationships.
I give love freely without abandoning myself.
I receive love without feeling that I must earn it.
My heart can heal at its own pace.
I allow compassion to flow through me.
I allow love to flow through me.
I am open to connection.
I am open to life.
19. INTEGRATION
Now imagine the green light becoming beautifully balanced.
It doesn’t need to be completely open all the time.
It doesn’t need to be completely closed.
It can respond.
It can discern.
It can protect.
It can open.
It can give.
It can receive.
Imagine this heart energy connecting with everything you have already created within yourself.
Your Root Chakra…
Grounding you.
Your Sacral Chakra…
Allowing you to feel and flow.
Your Solar Plexus…
Giving you choice and personal strength.
And now your Heart Chakra…
Bringing compassion, connection and love.
Grounded.
Fluid.
Empowered.
Open-hearted.
20. REORIENTATION
And now begin to become aware of the room around you.
Notice the surface supporting your body.
Notice the sounds around you.
Notice the temperature of the air.
Notice your breathing.
Bring your awareness to your hands.
Your feet.
Your chest.
Take a slow, deep breath in…
And slowly breathe out.
Move your fingers.
Move your toes.
Stretch gently if you wish.
And when you are ready…
Open your eyes.
Returning fully to the present moment.
Bringing with you:
Grounding.
Flow.
Strength.
Compassion.
Connection.
And an openness to love.
21. CLOSING
Take a moment before getting up.
Notice your heart.
Notice your breath.
And remember:
You do not have to carry everything you have experienced.
You do not have to remain closed because you were once hurt.
You do not have to forgive before you are ready.
You do not have to trust everyone.
You do not have to abandon your boundaries in order to love.
Your heart can become open and wise.
Tender and strong.
Compassionate and discerning.
You can love others without abandoning yourself.
And you can learn to love yourself without needing anyone else’s permission.
Take one more slow breath.
And as you breathe in…
Receive.
As you breathe out…
Release.
And hear these words:
My heart is safe to open at its own pace.
I allow love to flow.
I allow compassion to flow.
I allow connection to flow.
I release what I no longer need to carry.
I honour my boundaries.
I honour my heart.
I honour myself.
I am open to giving love.
I am open to receiving love.
I allow my heart to become lighter.
I allow my heart to become freer.
I allow my heart to flow naturally.
22. POST-SESSION GUIDANCE
After the session, take several quiet moments before returning to your normal activities.
Drink some water if appropriate.
Move gently.
Notice your breathing and the sensations in your body.
You may wish to journal about any emotions, memories, insights or sensations that arose.
Do not force forgiveness, emotional release or vulnerability. These processes are most useful when they occur at a pace that feels psychologically safe and appropriate.
If significant grief, trauma, distress or difficult memories emerge, consider working through them with an appropriately qualified mental-health professional.
The chakra framework used in this session is a spiritual and contemplative framework, not a medical diagnosis.
The intention is to support qualities such as emotional awareness, compassion, self-acceptance, healthy connection and the ability to give and receive love.
Allow the heart to open naturally.
Not through force.
Not through pressure.
But through safety, awareness and choice.
Breathe.
Receive.
Release.
Connect.
Love.
