Today, my heart is full of gratitude.
Not because life has been easy. Not because every prayer has been answered exactly the way I hoped. Not because I have somehow earned where I stand today.
I’m grateful because I have come to understand something that changes everything: everything is grace.
The breath in my lungs is grace. The sunrise I didn’t create is grace. The people who have loved me, forgiven me, encouraged me, and even those who challenged me—they have all been part of grace at work.
There was a time when I thought life was about achieving, proving, striving, and earning. But the longer I live, the more I realize that the greatest gifts have never been things I deserved. They have been freely given.
Grace carried me through the days I thought I wouldn’t survive. Grace opened doors I couldn’t open myself. Grace taught me lessons through pain, restored hope after disappointment, and gave me strength when I had none left.
Looking back, I can see that even my failures were not the end of my story. They became places where grace met me.
Today, I choose to stop measuring my life by what I have accomplished. Instead, I measure it by the countless moments where God has been faithful, patient, and kind.
Everything I have is a gift.
Every new morning is another opportunity.
Every relationship is a blessing.
Every lesson is an invitation to grow.
Everything is grace.
My prayer today is simple: may I never lose the wonder of that truth. May gratitude become my daily language, humility my posture, and love my response to everyone I meet.
If my life reflects anything worthwhile, let it point not to my own strength, but to the incredible grace that has sustained me every step of the way.
Today, I am simply thankful.
And that is enough.May this truth settle deeply in all our hearts: we are not defined by what we earn, but by the grace we have received.
