Poem of Self-control, SELF-CONTROL

The Still Waters of Self-Control

Self-control sits where the still waters stay,
quietly holding the wild winds at bay.
Like mountains unmoved by thunder’s loud call,
it stands in calm strength, steady and tall.

It breathes with the rhythm of oceans at rest,
where tides rise and fall yet remain truly blessed.
The river may rush, the storm clouds may roll,
but peace guards the heart of the centered soul.

Self-control grows like a forest of grace,
deep rooted in time, in a patient place.
Each branch reaching upward, mindful and wise,
balanced between the earth and the skies.

It glows like the dawn that chooses its light,
never too hurried to conquer the night.
Slowly revealing the day’s golden fire,
teaching the spirit the strength of desire.

Like wind that can whisper though able to roar,
true power is knowing what strength is for.
The eagle that circles the vast open blue
rides steady currents with disciplined view.

So walk with the earth in mindful control,
letting calm consciousness guide the soul.
For self-control is the universe’s way –
the quiet mastery that lights the day.

My Personal Motto Is: With experience and study comes insight with insight come wisdom with wisdom comes moments of absolute clarity, transcendence then follows.
