Hypnotherapy Script: Let Go, Leave Behind, Release Yourself — No Regrets

Induction | Settling Into Safety

Begin by finding a comfortable position.
You may sit or lie down—whatever feels right for your body.

Allow your eyes to close gently…
or keep them softly focused, knowing you are always in control.

Take a slow breath in through your nose…
and release it slowly through your mouth.

Again… breathing in calm…
and breathing out tension.

Nothing to change.
Nothing to fix.
Just allowing your body to settle.

As you continue to breathe, notice the surface supporting you.
Let yourself feel held… supported… safe in this moment.

Silently remind yourself:
I am here by choice. I am safe.

Deepening | Turning Inward

With each breath out, allow your body to soften a little more.

Your shoulders release…
your jaw loosens…
your forehead smooths.

You don’t need to go anywhere.
You don’t need to remember anything.

Your subconscious already knows what is ready to be released today.

Imagine now that you are standing at a gentle threshold—
not between right and wrong,
but between holding on and letting go.

You are not being pushed forward.
You are simply noticing that the door is open.

Therapeutic Imagery | The Weight You’ve Carried

Somewhere near you is a container.
It could be a bag, a box, a basket, or something abstract.

This container represents everything you’ve been carrying that no longer belongs to you:

  • regrets
  • guilt
  • shame
  • unfinished emotional stories
  • roles you had to play to survive

You don’t need to name them.
You don’t need to explain them.

Just notice the weight of the container.

And gently realize:
You were never meant to carry this forever.

Release | Let Go Without Regret

When it feels right, imagine setting the container down.

You are not throwing it away in anger.
You are placing it down with understanding.

Silently say:
Thank you for what you taught me. I release you now.

Notice that letting go does not erase your past.
It simply loosens its grip on your present.

Feel the relief—
even if it is subtle—
as your body realizes it no longer has to hold everything.

Reframing | Leaving Behind Without Self-Judgment

Now allow a gentle truth to settle into your awareness:

You did the best you could
with what you knew
and what you had
at the time.

There is nothing to punish yourself for.

Regret belongs to hindsight.
Wisdom belongs to growth.

Silently repeat:

  • I leave behind what no longer serves me.
  • I carry forward only what makes me wiser.
  • I am allowed to move forward without regret.

Let these words sink beneath the conscious mind…
where real change happens naturally.

Future Orientation | Releasing Yourself

Now imagine stepping forward—just one step.

You are not required to know the whole path.
You are only choosing not to remain stuck.

Notice how you feel when you are no longer defined by what you’ve released.

You may feel lighter.
Calmer.
More present.

This is what freedom feels like in the body.

Your subconscious understands now:
Release is safe.
Moving forward is allowed.

Integration | Anchoring the Change

From this moment forward, your mind remembers:

  • you can let go gently

  • you can close chapters without regret

  • you can release without losing yourself

This understanding continues to integrate naturally, in your own time, in ways that feel right for you.

Return | Re-Orientation

In a moment, I will count from one to five.

With each number, you return feeling grounded, calm, and clear.

1… gently bringing awareness back to your body
2… feeling the surface supporting you
3… breathing in fresh energy
4… becoming more alert
5… eyes open when ready, feeling lighter and present

Closing Statement

You are not broken.
You are not behind.
You are not required to carry the past any longer.

You have let go.
You have left behind.
You have released yourself.

No regrets.
